Before scaffolding, our roots were firmly grounded in the trades. WMA’s team brings a strong background in stone masonry and related construction disciplines. William Treble
DirectorWill Treble is the director and visionary behind WMA Scaffolding, bringing a wealth of leadership experience from managing four other successful companies. As the driving force behind WMA Scaffolding, Will is committed to fostering a trusted-leading culture that prioritises safety, professionalism, and service excellence. His strategic vision guides the company’s growth and ensures that every project — from high-end residential builds to large-scale commercial and industrial sites — is delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
With a hands-on approach and an eye for detail, Will works closely with the team to innovate solutions, maintain operational excellence, and support clients throughout their scaffolding projects.
Matt Demo
General ManagerWith over 20 years of industry experience, Matt brings extensive hands-on scaffolding knowledge, operational expertise and proven leadership to his role as General Manager. Before joining WMA Scaffolding, he worked in his family’s business, Perimeter Scaffolding, which was later acquired by WMA.
Matt oversees the performance and direction of the business while remaining closely involved in scaffolding quotes and designs, ensuring projects are accurately planned and efficiently executed from the outset. Known for connecting on-site teams with executive leadership, he builds strong relationships across all levels of the business and leads the team towards safe, seamless and successful project delivery.
Colin Vernon
Head of OperationsWith over 20 years of industry experience, Colin brings extensive expertise in operational processes, systems integration and stakeholder management. As Head of Operations, he oversees day-to-day operations and supports the effective delivery of scaffolding projects from planning through to completion.
Known for connecting on-site teams with business leadership, Colin builds strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation. His experience spans operations management, warehouse systems, invoicing and transport coordination, helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and effectively.
John Sakic
Senior Operations ManagerJohn brings more than three decades of hands-on building, scaffolding, and construction industry experience to WMA Scaffolding. Beginning his career as a bricklayer, he went on to manage a wide range of building projects throughout Greater Melbourne, Geelong, and regional Victoria, developing a strong understanding of construction methodology, site coordination, sequencing, and access requirements.
In the early 2000s, John established Abode Scaffolding and built long-standing relationships across Victoria’s residential construction industry. Following its amalgamation with WMA Scaffolding, John now applies his extensive practical knowledge as Senior Operations Manager, approaching projects from both a builder’s and scaffolder’s perspective. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and practical solutions, John continues to play an integral role in supporting WMA’s customers, project teams, and operations.
Eric Ooi
Operations ManagerAs an Ops Manager, Eric has been in the industries for over 20 years, bringing extensive hands-on scaffolding experience and a strong commitment to excellence. Eric has successfully managed multiple crews across different divisions, showcasing his versatility, leadership, and deep operational knowledge.
Known for his keen eye for detail and unwavering commitment to safety, he consistently upholds the highest standards on every project. His advance credentials include a White Card, High Risk license, Rigging intermediate, C6, CV, Crane Supervisor, Confined Spaces, Scissor lift and Hoist personal Traffic Management certification, and First Aid training, making him fully equipped to handle a wide range of site requirements.
Craig Brown
Operations ManagerCraig brings nearly a decade of hands-on scaffolding experience across the domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors. Beginning his career in residential scaffolding, he quickly progressed into leading hand and operations roles before moving into commercial projects, including apartment developments, schools, and libraries.
Craig later specialised in complex tank and pipework scaffolding within the petroleum, gas, and industrial sectors, completing shutdown and maintenance works across refineries, chemical plants, and other high-risk environments. This experience reinforced his strong commitment to safety, correct PPE, and careful project planning. At WMA Scaffolding, Craig combines practical experience, operational leadership, and a safety-first approach to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
Tim Connolly
Estimating ManagerA loyal and long-standing member of the team, Tim has been with the company for over 15 years, bringing extensive hands-on scaffolding experience and a strong commitment to excellence. Tim has successfully managed multiple crews across different divisions, showcasing his versatility, leadership, and deep operational knowledge.
Known for his keen eye for detail and unwavering commitment to safety, he consistently upholds the highest standards on every project. His credentials include a Working with Children Check, white card, high risk license, traffic management certification, and first aid training, making him fully equipped to handle a wide range of site requirements.
Jo Treble
OHS ManagerOur OHS Manager is responsible for leading all safety, compliance, and risk management initiatives at WMA Scaffolding. With extensive knowledge of Work Health & Safety (WHS) regulations and practical experience on a wide range of projects, they ensure every scaffold we design and install meets or exceeds Australian Standards. From conducting detailed site inspections and implementing safety protocols to training staff and advising clients, their role is critical in creating a zero-incident work environment.
By combining technical expertise with hands-on oversight, our OHS Manager helps protect both our team and clients, ensuring every project — whether residential, commercial, or industrial — is executed safely, efficiently, and with complete peace of mind.
